Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PC Patch Out Now, with PS5 and Xbox Series X|S Update Coming Soon

EA and Respawn have recently released a patch for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, currently available only on PC and Steam Deck. However, it is expected that the update will soon be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, which has been highly anticipated by gamers. The game has faced strong criticism since its launch on the Valve platform.

In their statement, Electronic Arts acknowledged the need for the patch, stating that it includes many necessary corrections and improvements. They confirmed that the PC version has already been updated, and shortly after, the same patch will be launched for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Cal Kestis, the protagonist, continues to receive improvements in the game.

On PC, the improvements include better rendering performance without ray tracing. On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, several crashes and bugs have been fixed, along with performance improvements and various rendering issues. Issues with cinematic dialogue, collision, and AI bugs have also been addressed.

While these may not seem like drastic changes, they are necessary to improve the gaming experience and avoid the “big bug that breaks the game” on consoles. More updates are expected in the future, and EA will be sharing the schedule as soon as they become available.

In conclusion, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a game that has been highly anticipated and has already become the best-selling physical game in the UK. However, more polishing is needed before its launch to prevent widespread discontent among its users. The new patch is a step in the right direction toward improving the gaming experience for Jedi fans.
