Game-Breaking Glitch in Star Wars Jedi

New Bug Discovered in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor That “Breaks the Game”

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, has been receiving criticism for its performance on PC, Steam Deck, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Now, a player reports a bug that is equal to or more serious than the existing issues.

The bug is so severe that it can “break the game”. A Reddit user warns others of the problem, which occurs if the player goes past a certain point at the start of the game (in 2-3 hours or so) and dies before saving. In that case, there is a risk of reappearing in a room with no exit.

The user provides some spoilers to explain the failure. After completing the Chamber of Duality and riding the elevator, Cal Kestis must meditate at the meditation site. If he doesn’t and dies, he will be returned to the chamber with no exit, and fast travel will be disabled.

The user is so upset with the problem that they request a refund of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PS5. However, other Reddit members have confirmed in the comments that the same can happen on Xbox Series X | S.

Despite the launch patch and New Game Plus, the gaming community is very upset with an adventure that already had a delay in January to avoid issues like this. Now it remains to be seen when this game-breaking glitch in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be fixed along with the other issues on consoles and PC.

In conclusion, players should be aware of this bug and follow the necessary steps to avoid it. Let’s hope that EA and Respawn Entertainment can address this issue and improve the performance of the game.
