Is FCN Losing One of Its Greatest Talents?

FC Nuremberg (FCN) may be losing one of its greatest talents soon. Ion Ciobanu, a 17-year-old playmaker originally from Sheriff Tiraspol, joined the club in 2021 and has become part of the perspective squad with the best young players. Ciobanu has been making waves this season, having scored 5 goals and assisted in 16 U17 Bundesliga appearances so far.

Madness in the 98th Minute! Crazy Nuremberg Comeback

Recently, FCN impressed audiences with a stunning comeback in the 98th minute of the game. They have been playing well, but with Ciobanu’s possible departure, their lineup may soon change. According to BILD information, Bundesliga club Union Berlin is interested in the young talent.

Will Ciobanu Stay or Go?

While it remains unclear whether Ciobanu will wear the FCN jersey again next season, fans have some reason to hope. The young player has reportedly not shown any aversion to staying in Nuremberg. Currently, he’s playing without a contract which should change for the new season.

Regulations and Fees

According to FIFA regulations, a training fee of tens of thousands of euros will be due to Ciobanu’s former clubs. This is usually paid to the club(s) where a player trained from the age of 12 to 21, and who played for that club at least three seasons.

FCN fans will be eagerly awaiting news about Ciobanu’s future status with the club. Until then, they can continue to enjoy his impressive skills on the field.
