The Growing Seed of FC St. Pauli: Elias Saad Powers Strong Performance

FC St. Pauli: Strong performance! With Elias Saad, the seed is growing

St. Pauli’s Junior Elias Saad Makes an Impressive Debut

Elias Saad, the 23-year-old junior from St. Pauli, played an outstanding game against Hannover 96, despite not scoring a goal. He showed his talent in the match and impressed coach Fabian Hürzeler with his skills on the right side of the field.

Hürzeler states, “He has his strengths in one-on-one situations, where even a second division player gets his problems. I’m very happy with him.” The coach wants to build Saad up slowly and have him become a permanent fixture on the team.

Saad joined St. Pauli in December from the regional league team Eintracht Norderstedt and is expected to take off with the professionals. Although he was not yet in the second division squad, he gained match practice with the U23s and scored three goals in four games, showcasing his potential.

It remains to be seen where Saad’s career will take him, but one thing is certain: he has an exciting future ahead of him.
