HSV Struggles with Snapper Inactivity as Robert Glatzel’s Pressure Mounts

HSV: Snapper doldrums! Tim Walter: Robert Glatzel puts himself under too much pressure

With 16 goals scored so far this season, Robert Glatzel (29) is seen as HSV’s potential ace in the struggle to secure promotion to a higher league. However, in the last five league matches, the center forward failed to score four times, something that’s troubling the fans of HSV.

Despite the harsh weather condition, coach Tim Walter (47) had a heart-to-heart talk with his star striker on the training ground on Tuesday. Walter revealed that they could have scored eight or nine more goals against Kiel if they had played their last balls better. This indicates that Glatzel might be working too hard for the team, thus lacking concentration when it’s time to score.

“I think because he wants to do a lot for the team at the moment, he’s very cerebral. He wants to be everywhere. Bobby puts a lot of pressure on himself because he wants to help the team because he knows he has a lot to give to the team. He really wants it,” Walter said.

Despite being urged to take things easy, Glatzel still managed six shots against Kiel without any success. Walter advised him that less would be more at this moment.

“I told him to stay calm. Bobby is also much more relaxed now than he has been in the last two or three weeks,” Walter added.

In conclusion, Glatzel’s contribution to the team will continue to play a significant role in the fight for promotion. Therefore, it’s essential to encourage him to focus more on taking fewer shots and wait for opportunities to make a more significant impact. This will enable him to achieve the desired results and help HSV secure promotion.
