Star Guest Steals Viewer’s Beer Live on TV in the Double Pass

In the "double pass": star guest steals viewer beer live on TV

Jean-Marie Pfaff, the former cult goalkeeper of FC Bayern, has caused laughter once again during the TV show Doppelpass on Sport1 on Sunday. The 69-year-old stole a beer from a spectator shortly after being greeted by presenter Florian König. When König asked him about it, Pfaff responded in his usual humorous manner, “I thought, if I come here, I’ll get a beer.”

Pfaff is known not only for his strong performances on the pitch but also for his qualities as an entertainer during his time at FC Bayern from 1982 to 1988. He even had a short appearance in the Thomas Gottschalk film “Zärtliche Chaoten” in 1987. However, his debut in Munich did not go according to plan. Many fans still remember when, in his first Bundesliga game on August 21, 1982, Pfaff deflected a throw-in from Bremen’s Uwe Reinders into his own goal, which resulted in a goal being counted for the opposing team.

During his recent appearance on Doppelpass, Pfaff spoke about his ex-club Bayern and his prediction that they will be champions again this season. He stated that Borussia Dortmund, who are currently top of the table, has an “enormous hunger for the title”, but they have had to sell good players again and again. Pfaff believes that Bayern is a club that buys players because they need them, not just for the sake of buying them.

Other guests on the show included ex-Bayern star Stefan Effenberg, BVB legend Jürgen Kohler, freelance journalist and director of the Infantino documentary Benjamin Best, freelance journalist and moderator Stephan Kaußen, and Valentina Maceri.

Overall, Pfaff’s humorous personality and entertaining presence continue to bring laughter and joy to fans, both on and off the pitch.
