Sea Devils await the arrival of globetrotter Brett Morgan and his potential title win

ELF: Will globetrotter Brett Morgan bring the title to the Sea Devils?

Traditions Ship Harbour and Magellan Terraces

Brett Morgan, the new offensive coordinator for the See-Teufel team, is excited about the possibilities that lie ahead. From the conference room of the freshly occupied Sea Devils office in Hamburg’s HafenCity, he admires the view of the harbor and its surroundings.

“It’s a really nice corner here,” he says. “Unfortunately, I haven’t had that much time to explore the city yet.”

The See-Teufel team has had a rough time in the recent past, failing twice in a row in the final of the European League of Football. Morgan is the man who is supposed to give the attack the decisive boost.

Team training is set to begin on April 1st, with the import players joining them three weeks later. Morgan is optimistic about the group’s potential.

“The boys are a really good group,” he says. They have the right attitude. They love the team and they love football.

Football Runs in His Veins

Brett Morgan has been in love with football since childhood. He played quarterback during his youth in Florida but didn’t make it as a professional player. He turned to journalism but eventually found his way back to the game as a coach.

He has coached teams in Canada (CFL) and traveled across the world, including Brazil, Serbia, Turkey, and Italy. He sees himself as a football ambassador, promoting the sport along the way.

“I’m convinced you can’t come here and behave like a dictator. I believe in a community approach, he says.

New Philosophy for the Sea Devils

Last season, the Sea Devils relied heavily on Glen Toonga’s running skills. However, with Toonga’s departure, Morgan has different ideas for the team. “My philosophy is quarterback-friendly,” he says.

He intends to create an efficient, clean, and explosive offense that capitalizes on the team’s strengths. With Morgan’s guidance, the See-Teufel team is excited to conquer new challenges and compete at the highest level.
