Avril Lavigne Becomes the Target of Boob Attack at Juno Awards Ceremony
An unidentified protester targeted Avril Lavigne with a boob attack at the Juno Awards on Monday. The “Complicated” singer was on stage to announce musician AP Dhillon when a woman rushed the podium, pulled down her top, and began to protest against the development of a green belt in the greater Toronto area.
Although numerous mobile phones were pulled out, the superstar didn’t give the protester any attention. Later, a bodyguard manhandled the naked protester from the stage. It’s not known what became of the woman.
The moderator of the evening, Marvel star Simu Liu, praised Avril Lavigne for dealing with the situation “masterfully.” Lavigne also received an award at the show in Edmonton and revisited the boob attack while accepting the TikTok Juno Fan Choice Award.
Lavigne had just dumped her fiancé, rapper Mod Sun, a few days earlier. Instead, she was seen with Tyga, who should have been honored at the Juno Awards but preferred not to appear. In view of the rumors about the rock tube, it’s probably no coincidence.
