Ubisoft’s Open World Star Wars Takes on the Outlaws

"Star Wars Outlaws": Ubisoft develops "Star Wars" with Open World

Ubisoft is set to release an open-world Star Wars game titled Outlaws in 2024. The French publisher teased fans with a trailer at the Xbox showcase, but gameplay footage is expected to be released later. The storyline takes place between episodes 5 and 6, with the game’s main character, Kay Vess, navigating different planets and dealing with various criminal gangs.

While details about the game are scant, Ubisoft has confirmed Outlaws will be an open-world title. The company is known for producing popular games like Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry.

Outlaws is being developed in conjunction with LucasFilm Games and Massive Entertainment. However, Ubisoft has experienced delays with titles like Skull and Bones, which has been postponed multiple times.

Several Star Wars games are currently in the works, including one by Quantic Dream. Star Wars Eclipse is an action-adventure game set during the High Republic, with no release date announced yet.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Outlaws, and the game is set to be one of the most exciting additions to the Star Wars universe in recent years.
