Terence Hill Shooting Another Western 50 Years After Debut of Cult Figure

50 years after the debut of his cult figure: Terence Hill is shooting another western

Italian actor Terence Hill is set to make a comeback as the cult figure Trinità in his next western movie. The 83-year-old actor promises his fans that he still has a few cartridges in the Colt and is ready to make a new western movie. Although he previously did not want to make any more westerns, Hill admits that the genre still has something mystical that he cannot resist. He has completed the script for the movie, which is based on a true story of an Italian nun who immigrated to America with her poor family and decided to journey west alone. Filming for the movie will most likely begin this summer.

In an interview with the Italian weekly “7”, Hill stated that he had previously thought that making another western was pointless because he had already done everything and could not do better. However, he later found inspiration in the story of the nun and is now excited to bring it to life on screen. Hill also hinted at a potential return of his film character Trinità from “The Devil’s Right and Left Hand.”

Terence Hill is known for his spaghetti westerns and western parodies, which he made with his colleague Bud Spencer, who passed away in 2016. Hill’s last appearance as Trinità was 50 years ago, but with this new movie, he is ready to once again take on the persona of the beloved character.
