Firstly, Okta Authorization system OpenFGA was presented in version 1.0 at the KubeCon+CloudNativeCon EU conference. Flask, a popular web framework written in Python, has reached version 2.3.0. This release includes the permanent removal of previously deprecated code, as well as support for Python 3.7.
The JetBrains development team has announced the return of the Kotlin mascot, now known as “Kodee”. Developers can admire the new mascot in various forms on the Kotlin website.
Microsoft has announced the release of version 1.14 of the CMake Tools in Visual Studio Code. This release features a new Test Explorer for using CTest with CMake projects, allowing developers to see the detailed status of all their tests and the latest results.
Embarcadero has released the Delphi 11 and C++Builder 11 Community Editions, which are free license versions for students, start-ups, and developers who want to try out creating apps with Delphi and C++Builder.
Lastly, Rustup working group has presented Rustup version 1.26.0, a tool for installing Rust. This release includes a larger number of internal cleanups, both to the Rustup code and to its testing. Developers can now add the rust-analyzer as a rustup proxy.
