Production Team of Ximena Sariñana Attacked After Concert

Singer Ximena Sariñana has taken to social media recently to denounce the violent attack on her musicians and representatives after her show at the Horse Fair in Texcoco, State of Mexico. The singer explained in a statement that the events took place shortly after leaving the venue and after having lived with her fans.

According to the statement, some men locked her musicians and team in a dressing room while attacking and beating her production manager until they left him completely bloody. The singer expressed her helplessness over what happened and informed that her entire team will seek justice for the alleged attacks.

Sariñana’s team is doing everything in their power, adhering to the law, to find those responsible and for justice to be done. The purpose of the attackers is yet to be known, and it’s not the first time that the music industry has been victim to such criminal activities.

In April 2022, Moderatto denounced the theft of his instruments by an armed command at the Chalco booth, Mexico-Puebla highway. Café Tacvba is another of the gangs affected by this type of incident, recorded in 2019 when an organized crime group stole musical, light, and sound equipment, which later a sound side known as Fania 97 boasted on networks.

Violence has no place in any field and this incident is a reminder that we need to enforce stricter measures for the protection of our artists and their teams. It’s high time that law enforcement agencies take strict action against such criminal activities and ensure the safety of our artists and their teams.
