Paris: Educator for the disabled placed under investigation and imprisoned for minors’ rapes

A nauseating affair has emerged in the last few months involving an educator for mentally handicapped individuals at the Lecourbe center in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, a facility owned by the Saint Jean de Dieu foundation. It is alleged that the educator has abused several minors and young adults.

The 53-year-old man, who grew up in Boulogne-Billancourt, was arrested on the morning of Tuesday, January 16th by the investigators of the child protection brigade. He was brought to the Paris judicial court and charged on Thursday afternoon for “rapes and sexual assaults on minors under 15 years of age between October 2021 and September 2023,” according to the Paris prosecutor’s office.
