Over a hundred people evacuated from a camp in Paris and directed to temporary shelter accommodations

A campsite was evacuated in Paris on November 17, 2022. One hundred and twenty-seven people were taken in and directed towards temporary accommodations in Île-de-France. This includes 124 single men and a family of three, according to the authorities. This marks the 33rd operation of its kind in 2023 and brings the total number of people sheltered this year by the Île-de-France prefecture to 6,100.

Additionally, 83 other people currently benefiting from emergency accommodation in the Paris region have been offered orienteering outside of Île-de-France. In total, 3,030 people have been oriented in 2023 towards temporary housing outside of Île-de-France, a region where approximately 120,000 homeless people are housed each night under emergency protocols.
