Investigation Opened for Sexist and Homophobic Insults at Lycée Stanislas in Paris

An investigation for sexist and homophobic insults has been opened against the Stanislas school in Paris, according to information from the public prosecutor to AFP.

The private Catholic school has been the subject of controversy and public scrutiny for several weeks. It is at this controversial high school that the Minister of National Education, Amélie Oudéa Castéra, enrolled her children, sparking the controversy. Known for being conservative, the school has been the subject of an administrative investigation, as revealed by Mediapart in recent days. Homophobia and sexism are said to be common there. After the publication of this damning report, the City of Paris has announced that it will suspend its subsidies to the school.
