NTT establishes presence in Paris

NTT, a leading infrastructure services provider, has announced the construction of a data center in the Paris region to expand its current presence in Europe and establish a foothold in the French market.

The campus will cover 14.4 hectares and support a critical IT load capacity of 84 megawatts spread across three data centers. Located 50 kilometers south of Paris, in the municipalities of Le Coudray-Montceaux and Corbeil-Essonnes, the site will further strengthen NTT’s footprint in major European locations such as Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and London.

Logistics Capital Partners (LCP) will be responsible for constructing the buildings. LCP acquired the former industrial zone in 2019 through a public auction, and subsequently handled the demolition and decontamination of the area before obtaining the necessary permits and electrical connections for the data centers. LCP will continue to be strategically involved in the project by overseeing the construction of the new campus.

This announcement follows NTT’s recent expansions in the USA and India. These projects are part of a large-scale investment program, totaling more than $10 billion, in the growth of data centers planned for the fiscal years 2023-2027.
