Four talented individuals with nine nominations, the Oscars night was a wild ride for Markus and Nadija Frank. Markus, a visual effects expert, and his midwife wife, Nadija, took a break from their daily life and stepped into the world of Hollywood superstardom. Even though the overwhelming competition didn’t allow them to win, the couple enjoyed every moment of the event.
Nadija was recently in the running for the Miss Germany title, and her husband was in the race for the Oscar, competing against “Avatar” and “Black Panther.” The couple enjoyed the morning breakfast with their fellow nominees while limousines were waiting outside, ready to take them to the Oscars. Even though they were told to bring their snacks, Nadija’s clutch bag was too small to carry them.
After the ceremony, the couple enjoyed the golden evening of German film with friends and colleagues at the Dolby Theatre. When the tension lifted, the couple relaxed and partied. The couple enjoyed a small outdoor reception with appetizers, where Nadija’s favorite bite was Fried chicken on a waffle with maple syrup.
The party then moved into a large hall with a flying dinner, loud music, and drinks, and the couple enjoyed little white chocolate Oscars with lemon flavor. They also chatted with Hugh Grant and Oscar-winning actors Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan.
Even though the couple had an early flight back to their kids in Germany, there was still one more party – a Netflix after-show event on the hotel’s roof terrace. The couple couldn’t have asked for a better Oscars night, and Nadija was okay with the curfew as it allowed them to rest on their way back home.
