Michael Wendler and his partner Laura Müller will not be making a TV comeback in Germany after all. The couple missed out on a potential huge fee for a new docu-soap after the broadcaster RTL Zwei rowed back on the project amid a backlash. The programme was to follow the couple’s pregnancy, but the concentration camp comparison by Wendler in 2021 led to the loss of his job as a “DSDS” juror, and fierce criticism of the documentary plan. The Geiss family, alongside other TV celebrities, spoke out against it. Wendler and Müller are discovering Onlyfans as a new income source, following the failed TV deal.
