The soccer couple shared the exciting announcement on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon with a heartwarming photo of themselves embracing and placing their hands on the baby bump, which is already visible.
The couple wrote, “1+1=3. We are so happy to be parents for the first time.” And it didn’t take long for congratulatory messages to pour in, especially from Hofmann’s team, Gladbach, who wrote, “Congratulations! We are very happy for you!”
It’s been a whirlwind romance for the couple who made their relationship public just last year and then announced their engagement in November 2021, also on Instagram. With this baby news, a new phase of life begins for Hofmann, who was previously married for twelve years before separating from his ex-wife Lena earlier this year.
