Freeze Corleone banned from performing at Paris Zénith concert

Freeze Corleone, once again banned from concert.

He was scheduled to perform this Friday, November 24, and this Saturday, November 25. Freeze Corleone was supposed to perform this Friday, November 24, and this Saturday, November 25 with the whole 667 at the Zénith in Paris. We have just learned that both concerts have been canceled, as we learned through a statement from the Paris police prefecture, which fears that “public order disturbances may occur and that anti-Semitic remarks, or more generally inciting hatred knowingly and explicitly, whether directed at Jews, the police, or society more broadly, may be made at the performances”.

In the same statement, the prefecture cites the controversial rapper’s lyrics containing “many conspiracy and anti-Semitic references”. It notably uses examples from songs like “Bâton Rouge” where Freeze raps “I arrive determined like Adolf in the 30s” or the song “So Congo” which contains the expression “RAF de la Shoah” or “Shavkat”, in which he says he “would rather be accused of anti-Semitism than rape like Gerald Darmanin”.

Adding to this, for the police prefecture, there is a “particularly tense geopolitical context” due to the situation in Gaza and Israel “following the large-scale terrorist attack launched by Hamas on October 7, 2023”.

For all these reasons, the concerts scheduled at the Zénith in Paris are therefore canceled, a decision contested by the production of the two shows, which indicated in a statement that they have already filed appeals for the two events to take place.
