Star-Studded Arrival: Guillermo del Toro, Pedro Pascal and more Celebrities enter the Spider-Verse

Excitement is building among Spider-Man fans for the upcoming film “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse,” set to be released in 2023. To surprise fans, Sony Pictures released illustrations inspired by the Marvel superhero on its official Twitter account.

Illustrator @kristaferanka is behind the illustrations, which depict celebrities such as Guillermo del Toro, Pedro Pascal, Bad Bunny, and Anitta in the style of Spider-Man. These illustrations have caused a stir among fans, especially those who were delighted by the likeness of Guillermo del Toro, who was depicted wearing a mask, shiny glasses, and a suit with spider details.

Other notable celebrities featured in the illustrations include Rihanna, Beyoncé, and other social media, music, and sports stars.

The film “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” is a continuation of the story that began in the 2018 installment. It follows Miles and Gwen Stacy as they travel through the multiverse to protect reality, teaming up with a larger group of spiders. The film is set to be released on June 2, 2023, and is directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, known for their work on the successful 2014 film “The LEGO Movie.”
