Boxing: Felix Langberg with Blitz-Ko for the Euro title

Felix Langberg Claims Victory and Defends His Title

The reigning WBA heavyweight champion, Felix Langberg, celebrated another victory at the “P2M” promotion held in Hamburg’s Hotel Grand Elysée. However, the black championship belt didn’t fit around his massive waist, so he decided to throw it over his shoulder instead. Langberg, who hails from Rostock, is determined to attack at the top and faces every fight with that in mind.

During the event, Langberg knocked down Patrick Korte, from Essen, four times with an uppercut. Referee Oliver Brien decided to stop the bout after 2:45 minutes in round 1, much to the delight of the 600 fans present. Langberg was far too open and carefree in the face of his twelfth victory but coach Christian Morales praised him for doing a great job.

Furthermore, Langberg is supposed to defend his title in Rostock on June 24th, but before that, he plans to enjoy a holiday with his skater crew in Athens.

Other Fight Highlights

In the super middleweight division, Simon Zachenhuber, famous for his participation in “Let’s Dance,” beat Braunschweig’s Patrick Rokohl three times in the second round, securing a technical knockout.

Moreover, the WIBF world champion, Nina Meinke, destroyed Italy’s Angela Cannizzaro with body hits. However, none of the nine fights ended in a knockout, and only 22 of the possible 72 laps could be seen.

Overall, the “P2M” promotion proved to be an exciting event, attracting fans from all over.
