Chris Pratt’s Son’s Epic Reaction Revealed: Actor to Play Mario in Upcoming Movie

Super Mario Bros: The Movie faces fan backlash as Chris Pratt voices Mario

The upcoming animated film based on the Nintendo video game, Super Mario Bros: The Movie, has been causing quite a stir among fans. The movie features Chris Pratt as the iconic plumber, Mario, in his first adventure on the big screen. In the film, Mario has to stop the evil Bowser from taking over the power of the stars and worlds.

However, many fans have expressed their disappointment with Chris Pratt’s casting as Mario. Some have argued that an Italian-American actor should have been cast for the role or that the original voice actor, Charles Martinet, should have reprised the role.

Even Chris Pratt’s own son, Jack, was not impressed with his father playing Mario. Pratt revealed in an interview with ET Online that his son preferred Luigi and owned everyone in the game Super Smash Bros.

Despite the backlash, the cast of Super Mario Bros: The Movie includes other big names such as Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong.

The movie was originally scheduled to release on Friday, but it has now been postponed to April 5, 2023.
