Bleuenn Battistoni: A New Star on the Opera Stage in Paris

Bleuenn Battistoni, a dancer with the Paris Opera Ballet, has been named a star of the company by the director of Dance, José Martinez. This announcement was made after her performance in La Fille mal gardée, where she played the role of Lise. She will be performing in Giselle at the end of April.

Born in 1999 in Lyon, Battistoni has been dancing with the Paris Opera Ballet for seven years and was promoted to first dancer in 2023. She began dancing at the age of four in Lyon before training at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris. In 2014, she joined the Paris Opera Ballet School and was hired by the Opera in 2017.

Battistoni will be performing in the role of Lise with Marcelino Sambé on March 31st and in the title role of Giselle on April 29th, May 4th, 14th, and 16th at the Palais Garnier. Her talent and dedication have earned her this prestigious title within the Paris Opera Ballet company.
