Nintendo had previously confirmed that Tears of the Kingdom would occupy 18.2GB of free space on Nintendo Switch. However, there appears to be a change in plans as the game’s approximate size is now 16GB in the updated game tab on Nintendo eShop.
The reduced size of the game may be due to a launch update or content that will be added later. Nevertheless, you may still need a microSD card if your internal storage is full or you don’t have one yet.
