Tribute from France’s Unbowed in front of the Vél d’Hiv memorial disrupted by protesters

A wreath-laying ceremony organized at 11 a.m. this Sunday, November 12th at the Vélodrome d’Hiver by France Insoumise was disrupted by demonstrators. “We are Jews, we are victims, we do not want the support of France Insoumise,” the crowd chanted. The tribute was therefore interrupted. A protest against anti-Semitism this Sunday. Only a wreath-laying ceremony had been authorized by the police prefecture for this tribute co-organized by LFI, as the organizers had declared their demonstration outside the legal deadline. A major march against anti-Semitism will take place this Sunday in the capital at the initiative of the President of the National Assembly, Yaël Braun-Pivet, and the President of the Senate, Gérard Larcher. The procession, in which France Insoumise will not participate due to the announced presence of the National Rally, will symbolically link the Palais Bourbon and the Luxembourg Palace.
