Transfer Market – PSG: Paris no longer wants him, a 30M€ failure is revealed

Foot – Mercato – PSG

The PSG is looking to get rid of several of its elements during this winter transfer window, including Hugo Ekitike. The club had tried to sell the 21-year-old striker during the summer, but without success. The German press recently revealed a failed 30-million euro deal in this regard.

Following the recent arrival of Brazilian defender Lucas Beraldo for 20 million euros, the PSG seems focused on certain departures. Two names have been targeted by PSG for January departures: Layvin Kurzawa and Hugo Ekitike.

The PSG has been trying to part ways with Hugo Ekitike, who is no longer in the club’s plans. Despite this, the 21-year-old rejected all offers presented to him. After a first season of adaptation at PSG, Hugo Ekitike still wished to establish himself under the orders of Luis Enrique. In response to his attitude, the PSG management decided to sideline the former Stade de Reims player.

Hugo Ekitike could leave PSG in January after only playing 8 minutes this season. According to Fussball News, the terms of his departure have already been set: a six-month loan with a purchase option. The amount of this option is expected to be much lower than the 30 million euros demanded by PSG for Hugo Ekitike last summer. Eintracht Frankfurt, Wolfsburg, and Wolverhampton are still very interested in the French striker.
