Transfer market – PSG: Paris gets rid of it, it’s an endless ordeal

Foot – Mercato – PSG

The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has often encountered difficulties in the sale of players, despite its reputation for stellar transfers. Unwanted players pushed out the door have not had much luck finding success, especially in recent seasons, as seen with the recent examples of Renato Sanches and Thilo Kehrer.

After a disappointing first summer, Luis Campos led a major revolution at PSG, including the departures of Lionel Messi and Neymar. This was just the tip of the iceberg, with over thirty departures in the past two years, including contract expirations and loans.

The incredible nightmare of Renato Sanches

The situation for some players away from PSG doesn’t seem to be going well. An example that stands out is Renato Sanches, who has been on loan at AS Roma during the last summer transfer window. He has struggled with repeated injuries, playing only nine matches in all competitions this season. This is a problem that has marked a good part of his career, but in the Eternal City, it is suggested that there may be a psychological aspect that is making things extremely difficult, and his loan may be terminated.

Neymar’s declining interest in football

This is just one example, as Thilo Kehrer, who plays very little at West Ham and wishes to leave the club in the winter transfer window. The same goes for Pablo Sarabia and Arnaud Kalimuendo, who play but have not found the expected success in their respective clubs. And what about Neymar? His departure from PSG seemed to free him, but his adventure in Saudi Arabia was cut short due to a serious knee injury. He is now making headlines more for his off-field escapades, including a cruise that has caused a lot of talk.
