The Illicit Betting Scandal Escalates: Italy Plunged into Turmoil

On Thursday, this former owner of a photography agency claimed that Sandro Tonali, the 23-year-old midfielder from Newcastle, and Nicolo Zaniolo, the 24-year-old forward from Aston Villa, were also involved in the investigation by the Turin prosecutor’s office regarding illegal sports betting. This case had already led to the interrogation of Nicolo Fagioli, the 22-year-old midfielder from Juventus Turin.
