The Great Hike to Paris Will Make a Stop in Orne Before the 2024 Olympic Games

The “Grande Randonnée vers Paris” starts on January 11th and will run until May 12th, 2024. The goal is to connect all regions of France on foot, leading up to the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The route will pass through Orne from April 13th to 25th, 2024.

In preparation for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris, the French Hiking Federation, labelled Terre de Jeux, is organizing the “Grande Randonnée vers Paris”. This event aims to bring hikers from across France to converge in the capital in spring 2024, following the major hiking trails. Seven itineraries will traverse the entire country between January 15th and May 10th, 2024. The FFRandonnée ambassadors will be accompanied at each stage by local hikers.
