Last week, we were overjoyed to learn that Gus and his hybrid gang are returning with season 2 of ‘Sweet Tooth: The Deer Boy’. Netflix has released an emotional trailer for the upcoming episodes that will debut on the platform on April 27th.
The series is based on Jeff Lemire’s comic of the same name and revolves around a young boy who, like many others his age, was born as a hybrid between human and animal. Unfortunately, this makes him a target since some blame him for the deadly pandemic that affected humanity.
In search of the cure, Gus is taken into the hands of “The Last Men” who want to use the hybrid boys to find a cure for the disease. Meanwhile, Gus learns of the origin of the Big Incident. The second season promises to be full of surprises and gripping storylines.

The cast of the show includes Christian Convery as Gus, Nonso Anozie as Jepperd, Adeel Akhtar as Dr. Singh, Stefania LaVie Owen as Bear, Dania Ramirez as Aimee Eden, Aliza Vellani as Rani Singh, Naledi Murray as Wendy, Neil Sandilands as General Abbot, Marlon Williams as Johnny Abbot, Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. as Teddy Turtle, and Yonas Kibreab as Finn Fox.
Moreover, James Brolin narrates a story that has been written by Jim Mickle, who is also the creator and showrunner of ‘Sweet Tooth: The Deer Boy’. The credits also include Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey as producers of the series.
