Stanislas Guerini, Minister of Public Service Transformation in France, revealed a bonus system ranging from 500 to 1,500 euros for all public service agents based on their level of involvement during the Olympics. This announcement was made in response to a recent demand from the CGT for immediate action by the government. The Secretary General of the union threatened to strike in early April if measures were not taken. The bonus will be determined based on the number of days off taken during the Games and any additional pre-event workload. Special provisions will also be made for security forces heavily involved in the events.

In addition to the bonuses, the families of the agents will also be supported with the creation of 10,000 universal service check vouchers worth 200 euros per child, and 350 euros for single-parent families. The Minister will meet with unions to discuss these measures next Tuesday.
