Scam in Drug Trafficking: Informant on Trial for Forgery in Paris and Gendarmes Cleared

More than ten years after this obscure confusion between gendarmes, crooks, and drug traffickers, it’s the mountain that gives birth to a mouse. Two criminals, aged 39 and 54, were referred on December 22 to the Paris Correctional Court for a simple offense of forgery. They are accused of having written a false real estate auction report and a fake notary letter.

The investigating judge in charge of the case decided to issue a non lieu for many actors in this case, including two former members of the prestigious Paris research section of the gendarmerie. These two gendarmes, indicted for complicity in fraud, were suspected of aiding “their source” in a real estate scam by posing as a lawyer.
