For 21 years, Lash Fary has been giving out gift bags to Hollywood’s biggest stars during the Oscars. His Everyone Wins gift bag is designed to turn losers into winners since it is only given to the nominees of the biggest categories such as Best Actor and Best Director. Lash personally decides who gets the goodie bag, and this year, he hopes to make 26 people very happy. The bag is worth over $126,000 and includes luxurious travel and treatments, among other products.
Celebrities who are nominated for awards and who can look forward to receiving the goodie bag this year include Cate Blanchett, Colin Farrell, Ana De Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Steven Spielberg. The bag contains $5,000 worth of real products, such as a $125 luxury face cream based on human stem cell research, and the rest of the bag includes gift vouchers worth $100,000.
The vouchers can be redeemed for lavish experiences such as a $9,000 trip to Italy’s Punta Imperatore lighthouse, a $40,000 three-day Canada tour, and Botox treatments worth over $10,000. Although these are huge sums of money, Lash Fary has revealed that only about 10% of the stars actually redeem the vouchers. Nonetheless, Lash tries to make the trips and experiences as extravagant as possible to entice the stars to step out of their homes.
In addition to all the luxurious products and experiences, there is also a German surprise in the Everyone Wins gift bag this year. Young Berlin luxury jewelry brand Rareté Studios is giving away personalized bracelets to the Hollywood stars with their initials set in 18k solid gold and diamonds. The co-founder of the jewelry label, Alexandra Wilke, expressed her excitement about the celebrities wearing their bracelets, stating that they are honored that such inspiring personalities will soon be wearing a Rareté bracelet to celebrate themselves.”
Lash Fary has been in the gift bag business for 21 years and has never missed an Oscars event. He will be watching the show this year, but from the comfort of his home in pyjamas, cheering the winners on.
