Lysandre Nadeau and Claude Bégin Open Up About the Emotional Arrival of Their Newborn Son

Lysandre Nadeau and Claude Bégin Open Up About Difficult Times Following Birth of Son

Lysandre Nadeau and Claude Bégin shared their emotional story about the difficult times they experienced following the birth of their son, Blaise. Blaise was born with a diaphragmatic hernia, and it was on the Oral Sex podcast that the couple confided about how the dramatic birth took place.

That moment that I looked at with tenderness (…) a Claude who is completely moved, me who sees my baby, then who is full emotional, then the baby who is there (…) At that moment (…) I thought I was having a good time (…) he was fighting to breathe, Lysandre returns to the first minute of Blaise’s life, which was incidentally filmed on video.

Eventually, little Blaise was transferred to the Montreal Children’s Hospital, where he underwent a successful operation. Today, he is doing very well.

Helplessness in the Dark

Little Blaise was in distress and had to be taken to a separate room by the medical team. Lysander was now helpless and in the dark about the situation. There are more and more people coming. The pediatrician, and there, oops, we’re going to change rooms (…) We leave, me and the baby, and she stays there. It’s the famous moment that you don’t want to happen, says Claude Bégin.

Long Wait at the Hospital

After several tests that were too long for the taste of the parents, it was finally time for little Blaise to be transferred to the Montreal Children’s Hospital. The operation went incredibly well, and Blaise is now thriving.

Final Thoughts

The couple shared their incredible joy in having a child and the difficulties they endured along the way. Lysandre Nadeau and Claude Bégin hope to give strength and support to other parents who might be going through similar situations.
We wish the little family many beautiful moments to come!
