Lukas Klostermann’s Bundesliga Hopes with RB Leipzig

Bundesliga: Who Lukas Klostermann is now hoping for at RB Leipzig

Lukas Klostermann’s (28) attacking prowess was on full display during the first training sessions of the international break. However, it remains to be seen if he can impress RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose (46). The defender is struggling to break into the starting line-up, unable to compete with Willi Orban (30) and Josko Gvardiol (21) in the center and sitting on the bench for the last three league games. His tough season also saw him being dropped from the DFB squad after making it to the World Cup.

Despite these challenges, Klostermann remains relaxed, with his contract at RB Leipzig running until 2024. However, there have been no talks about extending his contract so far. Waiting for the arrival of the new sporting director Rouven Schröder (47), Klostermann’s future in Leipzig depends on whether he is given playing time and a perspective for the future.

For Klostermann, playing time is crucial if he wants to reach his goal of playing in the EM 2024. If RB Leipzig cannot offer him this, then a farewell at the end of the season may be the best option for both the player and the club. In the meantime, fans will be eagerly waiting to see if Klostermann can make an impact in the remaining matches of the season.
