Zagadou Forced to Halt Training at VfB Stuttgart, Causing Shockwaves

VfB Stuttgart: moment of shock at VfB: Zagadou has to stop training

Dan-Axel Zagadou Suffers Minor Injury During Training

Borussia Dortmund’s towering defender, Dan-Axel Zagadou, suffered a minor ankle injury during training on Tuesday. The 23-year-old was forced to stop training early after being hit on the ankle in a duel with Konstantinos Mavropanos.

However, there is no need for Dortmund fans to panic as the injury is reportedly not serious and Zagadou is expected to make a quick recovery.

Fabian Bredlow Also Hobbles Off Field

In addition to Zagadou’s injury, Fabian Bredlow also hobbled off the field during training but was able to continue after a short break in treatment.

Pascal Stenzel and Serhou Guirassy Missed Training

Meanwhile, Pascal Stenzel and Serhou Guirassy missed training and instead trained individually. It is highly unlikely that they will feature in Dortmund’s upcoming match against Wolfsburg on Saturday.

Several Other Players Absent But Expected to Return Soon

A number of other players, including Sosa, Silas, Karazor, Nartey, Coulibaly (who are undergoing individual load control), as well as Millot (cold) and Egloff (stomach and intestines) were completely absent from training but are expected to be back on the pitch soon.

Overall, while the news of Zagadou’s injury will no doubt cause some concern among Dortmund fans, it appears to be a minor setback that shouldn’t keep the defender out of action for long. Meanwhile, the other absent players are expected to return soon, providing some welcome relief for Dortmund manager Marco Rose.
