Live on TV Today: Naples – Eintracht Frankfurt in Champions League Action

Champions League: This is how you see Naples – Eintracht Frankfurt live on TV today

Eintracht Frankfurt faces a tough challenge tonight as they visit SSC Naples for the second leg of the Champions League round of 16. The game will kick off in Naples at 9 p.m. and can be watched live on DAZN’s streaming service.

Eintracht is in need of a win after not winning any of their last four competitive games. They suffered a 0-2 defeat in the first leg against SSC Naples, followed by a 1-2 loss against Leipzig and two draws against Wolfsburg (2-2) and Stuttgart (1-1) in the Bundesliga. The sports director Markus Krösche has expressed his disappointment, saying, “Our goal was to win today. We didn’t do that. We dropped points unnecessarily.”

Eintracht is known for its passionate fans who love to travel, but they will have to play without them after the Prefecture of Naples imposed a sales ban on 2,700 tickets for people residing in Germany. This decision comes after riots occurred during the first leg. BILD commentator criticized the ban, saying “SHAME ON YOU!”

The administrative court of Campania lifted the exclusion of Frankfurt fans last Saturday, but it was reinstated a day later. The Prefecture of Naples justified the decision by stating that they want to avoid “risks to the protection of order and public safety.” Eintracht’s board member, Philipp Reschke, has announced that the club will forego the away contingent to protect the safety of their fans.

SSC Naples is considered the leader in Serie A and won their dress rehearsal against Atalanta Bergamo with ease. The Neapolitans are now 18 points ahead of Inter Milan in the table.

The second leg of the Champions League round of 16 between SSC Naples and Eintracht Frankfurt will be broadcast live on DAZN at 9 p.m. Alternatively, you can also follow the game on BILD.de’s live ticker.
