King Charles wants a date with Motsi Mabuse: That's behind it!

King Charles III and his wife Camilla are set to make their first trip together as a royal couple, with a stopover in Berlin where they hope to meet the famous dance queen, Motsi Mabuse. As part of their trip, the royal couple has been invited to a state banquet at Bellevue Palace on March 29th, where Mabuse will also be in attendance at the express request of the King of Great Britain.

Mabuse is a well-known star in Germany and is especially popular in Great Britain. Since 2019, she has been a juror on the English edition of the popular dance show, “Strictly Come Dancing”. King Charles and his wife are said to be ardent supporters of the show and follow it on TV.

According to media reports, the King had invited Mabuse to Buckingham Palace on several occasions, but scheduling conflicts prevented a meeting from taking place. Now, during her stay in Berlin, there is the perfect opportunity to get to know Mabuse in real life.

Mabuse is thrilled about the upcoming official meeting, stating “It is a great honor and pleasure that His Majesty invited my husband and me to the state banquet hosted by the Federal President and expressed the wish to get to know my husband and me.” Mabuse also expressed excitement about potentially exchanging ideas about dancing, and even dancing together with King Charles and Camilla.

The royal couple’s love for dance shows and Mabuse is well known, and their meeting with the famous dancer is sure to be a highlight of their trip.
