Kalimba Suspended from Play Mentiras
After the scandal surrounding the alleged sexual abuse of singer Melissa Galindo, Kalimba has been suspended from the play Mentiras. The show’s producer, Alejandro Gou, made the decision to suspend the actor until the situation is resolved. This week, Mentiras celebrated its 200th performance.
Yahir to Replace Kalimba in Mentiras
Singer Yahir has been chosen to replace Kalimba in Mentiras while the situation is resolved. The play will continue with a new cast member in place of the former OV7 member.
Melissa Galindo’s Accusations
In March, Melissa Galindo accused Kalimba of sexual abuse through her social media accounts. The 40-year-old denied the accusations and took legal action against Galindo for defamation. Galindo subsequently filed an official report against Kalimba on March 28th.
Kalimba Plans Legal Action
Despite the accusations, Kalimba has stated that he plans to proceed legally against Melissa Galindo for moral damages. The situation remains unresolved as both parties deal with the legal ramifications of their actions.
