Julian Reichelt’s Contribution to the Making of the Bushido Documentary

Julian Reichelt played this role in the creation of the Bushido documentary!

Berlin – The creation of the popular Bushido documentary “Uncensored – Bushido’s Truth” was reportedly influenced by a dinner between rapper Bushido and former “Bild” boss Julian Reichelt. In the latest episode of his “Backstage” podcast, Bushido explained how the idea for the documentary came about. The rapper revealed that he had maintained close connections with Reichelt, who was known for his visionary ideas, even after his departure from “Bild”.

During their dinner with journalist Peter Rossberg, the trio discussed the idea of making a documentary. Although Rossberg was the initiator of the project, Reichelt was able to successfully pitch the idea to Bushido, without mentioning specific numbers. Rossberg revealed in the podcast that an employee from “Bild” had attempted to discredit the project, even to Arafat Abou-Chaker, Bushido’s former business partner.

Both Bushido and Reichelt are familiar with scandals, which may explain their close relationship. As Bushido has sympathies for Reichelt, the former “Bild” boss seems to have played a key role in the creation of the successful documentary. Reichelt has recently launched his own YouTube channel and has also taken on Deutsche Bahn for his refusal to identify himself during a ticket inspection.

The story sheds more light on the connections between media and the production of documentaries. The influence of media bosses on the final product can make a big difference in how it is marketed, promoted and received by the public. It also highlights the valuable role of journalists as initiators of ideas and projects.
