Ice Diver David Vencl Breaks World Record and Experiences Bloody Aftermath from Swimming Challenge

Swimming: Ice diver David Vencl creates a world record – and then spits blood

Apnea diver David Vencl recently made headlines by setting a new world record in the Swiss Lake Sils. The 40-year-old diver went 52.1 meters deep into the water without any gear except for his swimming trunks. While this achievement is undoubtedly impressive, what happened next shocked his fans.

After emerging from the water, Vencl celebrated his success and was cheered on by his fans. However, the celebration took a dark turn when he suddenly began spitting up blood. While many fans were worried about his health, Vencl quickly assured them that his lungs were fine and the blood came from his trachea.

Despite the frightening experience, Vencl still managed to have a sense of humor about the situation. When asked why he puts himself in such danger, he quipped, “mainly because of the beautiful pictures on Instagram, I don’t see any other reason.”

It’s worth noting that Vencl originally planned to spend 1 minute and 40 seconds underwater but ended up lasting for 1 minute and 54 seconds. This is partly because he went 2 meters deeper than originally planned.

While his fans may worry about his safety, there is no doubt that Vencl’s world record dive is an impressive achievement. It remains to be seen what dangerous stunt he will attempt next, but for now, he can celebrate his latest conquest.
