Get Ready for Assassin’s Creed Mirage and The Crew

Ubisoft’s Struggle: Delayed Releases and Leaked Information

It has been a rough year for Ubisoft, with low sales of games such as Just Dance 2023 and Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. However, the French company still has high hopes for upcoming releases.

After the success of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Ubisoft is working on a return to the roots of the saga with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which follows Basim in the city of Baghdad. Meanwhile, fans eagerly await the release of Codename Red, an installment set in feudal Japan, but it is rumored to be postponed until next year.

The Crew: Motorfest is the third installment of the racing game series and offers sandbox gameplay similar to Forza Horizon. While Ubisoft confirmed these games for a 2023 release, a new report suggests that they may be delayed until 2024.

The insider Script has been creating a buzz with their leaks, including the possibility of another Star Wars game from Ubisoft and the debut of Ubisoft Plus on Xbox consoles in mid-April.

While neither Assassin’s Creed Mirage nor The Crew: Motorfest have confirmed release dates, Script indicates that both games may be delayed until 2024. Ubisoft plans to provide more information on these titles at E3 2023.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an intergenerational title and runs on the same engine as Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Its launch window is Q4 2023-Q2 2024, indicating a possible release either late this year or in the second quarter of 2024.

At present, there is no official confirmation of delays from Ubisoft. Both Assassin’s Creed Mirage and The Crew: Motorfest are set for release in 2023 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC.
