Gerard Piqué Spends Time with Children in Miami
Gerard Piqué, the Barcelona soccer player, is currently visiting Miami to spend time with his children who moved from Spain with Shakira at the start of last month. This week, several photographs were revealed showing Piqué visiting various restaurants in the city with Sasha and Milan.
The first images were shared by Dr. Aurelio B. Castrellón on Twitter, where he posted pictures of Piqué and his family at a restaurant. In the pictures, Piqué can be seen sitting at a table adjacent to Shakira and their children.
Piqué and his children also visited an Italian restaurant decorated with memorabilia of the Argentine soccer star Maradona. A video of Piqué with his son Sasha subsequently went viral, showing the Spaniard sitting with his child on his lap while they looked at their mobile phone together. Milan was also there and was seen eating before joining his father and younger brother to look at the screen.
Piqué’s visit to Miami ends on May 2, but he will reportedly be spending 10 days with his children in the United States every month. Rumors suggest he may be considering living in an exclusive area of Miami to be closer to his children.
Interestingly, Piqué and Shakira were both born on February 2, but ten years apart. Today, the Colombian singer is 45 years old and the Spaniard is 35. They met during the 2010 World Cup when Shakira was 32 and Piqué was 22, at the peak of his soccer career.
