An email from Activision CEO Bobby Kotick to Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa was revealed, where Kotick expressed the expectation that Nintendo’s upcoming console will be able to compete with Xbox One and PS4 in terms of performance. This suggests a significant leap in performance compared to current Switch models.
The Switch has become a focal point in the court hearings over Microsoft’s proposed acquisition of Activision.
