Erling Haaland Tempts Manchester City with Lucrative New Premier League Contract

Premier League: Erling Haaland beckons new mega contract with Manchester City!

Erling Haaland, Manchester City’s prolific goalscorer, is set to receive a new mega-contract from the English champions. The Norwegian striker, whose current contract runs until 2027, is reportedly being offered €570,000 per week to keep him at the club until 2028. His impressive form since joining City from Borussia Dortmund for €60 million has made him one of the most sought-after strikers in world football.

Haaland’s record-breaking nine months at City have seen him score 42 goals in 37 competitive games, making him the top scorer in the Premier League with 28 goals. He is also the most accurate striker in the Champions League. Alongside teammate Kevin De Bruyne, the striker is already the top earner in the Premier League, with a weekly wage of €425,000.

Despite this, there have been rumors that Haaland may be considering a move to Real Madrid, with Spanish media reporting that the club sees him as the ideal successor to Karim Benzema. However, City is reportedly in an extremely comfortable position, with the striker’s market value currently at €170 million.

If Real Madrid is serious about Haaland, they will have to stretch themselves financially. Nevertheless, the player’s representatives remain active in creating speculation about a possible move. Haaland has previously expressed his dream of one day wearing the Real Madrid jersey, but he also has a connection to Manchester City through his father, who played for the club.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel has expressed interest in poaching one of Chelsea’s players. He did not name the individual, but speculation suggests it could be forward Tammy Abraham or defender Kurt Zouma. Regardless, with Haaland’s new mega-contract, it seems unlikely that City will be losing their star striker anytime soon.
