Doumbè to face Baki in Paris, not yet official according to him

The announcement was awaited by many fans and it’s getting closer. According to MMArena, Cédric Doumbé and Baki are likely to meet in the cage in Paris at the next PFL event. However, Doumbè has denied the official announcement for now.

It was on Saturday, January 12th in the evening that the announcement was made. The fight between Cédric Doumbè and Baysangur Chamsoudinov (Baki) will indeed take place in Paris according to MMArena.

The two men have been provoking each other for months on social media, but this time it’s official, they will meet in a cage. It will be during the next PFL event, a smaller MMA league than the UFC, that the two fighters will be the headliners.

Although the date is not yet confirmed, it seems that this fight will take place in early March 2024. On X (formerly Twitter), Cédric Doumbè, however, denied any official announcement of this fight. He stated that he would keep his fans informed when he himself is certain of fighting against Baki.
