Wednesday on Netflix: A Success Story

The first season of Wednesday on Netflix has been hugely successful in terms of setting new viewing records and catapulting Jenna Ortega to fame. Jenna is no newbie to horror movies, having been a fan of the genre since childhood. In fact, she has an impressive list of horror movies under her belt already, including Scream (2022), Scream VI, Insidious: Chapter 2, and The Babysitter: Killer Queen in 2022.

On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Jenna confessed her love for horror movies. She further elaborated that the first movie that scared her was Child’s Play (1988), a movie from the Chucky franchise. Despite her brothers’ attempts to shield her from the screen, Jenna ended up screaming in terror at the killer doll and suffered nightmares until she was 15 years old.
