Crucial Considerations for Containerizing with Kubernetes: The Path to Mastering Kubernetes

Mastering Kubernetes: What is important when containerizing with Kubernetes?

A new edition of Mastering Kubernetes will take place on July 11, 2023. It is an online conference on the container orchestration system Kubernetes, aimed at software developers, IT admins, cloud engineers, and dev(sec)ops.

The conference has been taking place annually since 2020 and repeatedly deals with the currently most important topics from the Kubernetes ecosystem. Last year’s edition attracted over 300 participants.

Kubernetes, created by Google, has become a very important pillar of contemporary IT environments. As a system for container orchestration, it is a great help to a number of microservices or cloud-native applications. However, the use of Kubernetes is a challenge for many companies.

Mastering Kubernetes goes into the diverse aspects of K8s and gives practical tips for use, so that the participants get everything they need to use Kubernetes and other tools in a targeted manner or better in their own projects.

The final seven practical lectures of the all-day conference deal with the following important topics: Kubernetes as an internal developer platform, developer enablement with the API Docs plugin Backstage, cloud-native API gateways, cluster management with the GitOps tool Argo CD and Helm charts, protection of the supply chain with and for Kubernetes, management and protection of Kubernetes secrets, and approaches and technologies for sustainable Kubernetes clusters.

The event will be broadcast as an online conference via live stream, allowing participants to listen to the lectures of renowned experts from their own desks. Interactions options are also available, as questions can be asked during the lecture via chat, and the speakers are available after the lecture for direct questions via Zoom.

The event costs 249 euros (incl. VAT), and special offers are available for teams. The lectures will be recorded and can be viewed afterwards, along with the conference materials.
