Crack in Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis: Justice Called Upon to Invalidate Anti-Consumption Orders

This Thursday, Gaïa, Oppelia, the Federation Addiction, and the SAFE association are filing a lawsuit against the monthly orders issued since April 2023 by Laurent Nuñez, the police prefect of Paris. These orders concern “the prohibition of gatherings of base cocaine (crack) users in certain areas of Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis.” A series of locations are listed, all located in the northeastern part of Paris and Seine-Saint-Denis.
